MELT — Opening Night
Eli and Ryan fall for each other while rehearsing their professor's play a script secretly based on his own unfinished love story.
MELT: A New Original Play
What starts as a college theater rehearsal becomes something no one planned for.
Eli and Ryan are cast in their professor Finch's original play — a story he wrote about love he never got to finish. As they run lines, block scenes, and spend late nights in the rehearsal room, the fiction starts to feel uncomfortably real.
MELT is a two-act play about the distance between performance and truth, and what it costs to close it.
Written by Shak Kanish. Directed by Fabiana Medici and Chris Prinzo.
Presented at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
