Overview

The Bridge is a monthly songwriter showcase designed to create meaningful connection between artists and audience.

The Bridge is a monthly songwriter showcase designed to create meaningful connection between artists and audience. Rooted in intentional listening, the evening offers a rare opportunity to experience songs not just as performances, but as windows into the creative process.

Each show features a thoughtfully curated lineup of songwriters sharing original work in a focused, attentive environment. Between songs, artists offer insight into their craft—inviting the audience into the stories, choices, and moments that shaped each piece.

Curated and hosted by Kyle J. Glenn, presented in partnership with Artichoke Music and Portland Songwriters Guild.

Vince Kelly:

Vince Kelly is a songwriter blending soul, R&B, funk, and jazz into music that sits somewhere between groove and reflection. Starting most songs at the piano, he builds rich harmonies around lyrics that explore identity, vulnerability, and the messy ways we grow and figure ourselves out. Nico Avery:

Nico Avery is a singer-songwriter living in Portland, Oregon. She delivers stories of everyday heartbreak through her sincere vocals and stripped-back production. These are the songs you want in your headphones while on a train, going through a breakup, somewhere far from home.

A Boy Named Crow:

A Boy Named Crow is a Portland OR singer-songwriter whose songs arise from stories of witness and ordinary loss, hard seasons and hotel windows, the responsibility of naming and the desire to be named well. He takes inspiration from such artists as Bruce Springsteen, Jason Molina, Bob Dylan, and Townes Van Zandt. He is currently working on his first set of recordings.
