Join Our Fun Homeschool Tour!
Hey homeschool families! Come on down for a super fun farm tour where you can meet some farm animals up close. It’s a great chance to explore, learn, and enjoy some quality time with your crew. Don’t miss out on this cool experience filled with smiles, baas, oinks, moos, and quacks!
All homeschool families and co-ops are welcome! Join Fred for a 60-minute stroll around True Cut Ranch to visit pigs, cows, sheep, chickens, and more. Tickets are $5 per person aged 5 or older; pay via cash, tap-to-pay, or card when you arrive. The new farm store, located inside the big red barn at the end of our lane, will be open at 12:00pm on this day for those who wish to check in early.
The tour fee covers the cost for participants to feed treats to some animals (sheep, cows, or pigs depending on where Farmer Fred has everyone grazing that day) during the homeschool tour experience.
Families are welcome to enjoy fishing at the pond before or after the tour for no additional fee. Picnicing at the pond is welcomed, but remember to clean up after yourselves and take out any trash.
Event is rain or shine, but if weather is unsafe or especially lousy then this tour will be canceled.
The new TRADING POST AT TRUE CUT RANCH is open to the public 12pm-6pm on Fridays and 10am-6pm on Saturdays.
FAQ
What to wear? Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather. Leave your new, fancy, bright white tennis shoes at home.
What animals will we see? Depending in where the animals are (most move every single day to fresh grass) you might see pigs, cows, sheep, chickens, guinea fowl, and ducks. We had scheduled to have ducklings in the brooder for this tour, but regrettably that won't happen as planned. However, we still have plenty of farm babies including lambs and piglets.
Is the tour stroller-friendly? Not really. We’ll be strolling on uneven terrain. A baby carrier is a better choice. We’ll walk slowly to accommodate all on the tour.
Is there a bathroom? The only restroom is inside the red barn.
Is there a fee for parking? No. We have plenty of free parking available in front of the big red barn.
