What's the deal with ticket time slots?

Time slots made the most sense admin-wise but don't really matter on the day. If you miss your time slot, just come anyway. If you want to come earlier or stay longer, do it. If your ideal time slot is sold out, just get tickets for a different one and show up when you want. Time is fake
