Chocolate + Charcuterie Workshop

Cooking classes offered 4 to 6 times a month and range from home cook classes to more chef inspired class. Classes are held at Healthy Eats Classroom and are open to the general public. Private classes are available for buisness events, birthday parties, or just get togethers with friends and family. Please message me for details.Classes are hands-on or demo style, two hours long, and each participant will receive a full meal and the recipes to take home!Want to try something new? Instructors: Tammy's Boards &amp; Bites + Healthy EatsI am so excited to welcome Tammy Lloyd, owner of Tammy’s Boards &amp; Bites! Tammy owns a Yakima Valley–based charcuterie and grazing table business known for creating beautiful, elevated food experiences for weddings, wineries, corporate events, and private parties.In this class, Tammy will be showing you all about crafting your own charcuterie boads and Elaina will be demonstrating some simple techniques to making homemade chocolates. This is a hands-on class where participants will be making and taking home their creations. Recipes included. What you will learn in this workshop:Tammy will be teaching you how to build a charcuterie board for two, including:• How to choose the right cheeses and meats• Simple techniques for styling salami and charcuterie• Creative ways to cut and present cheese• How to add fruits, crackers, and extras for color and balance• Tips for arranging your board so it looks full, professional, and party-readyBy the end of class, everyone will leave with their own completed charcuterie board and the skills to recreate it at home for gatherings, holidays, or special occasions.Elaina will be teaching you:<ul><li>How to temper and choose chocolate for tempering</li><li>How to make filled and bar chocolates</li><li>Low sugar options for healthier chocolates</li><li>Decorating and easy at home flavor combos</li></ul>Chocolate Menu:<h4>Homemade Crunch Bars</h4><h4>Blueberry and White Chocolate Filled Bon-Bons</h4><h4>Date Tahini Caramel Chocolates</h4><h4>PB Chocolate Candies</h4> This class does have items with dairy, gluten can be avoided. Children over 6 are welcome to attend with an adult signed up. They will need their own ticket. Only 22 spots available.
