RSVPs appreciated but not required.<h3>About the musicians</h3>Scott Stein is a Kensington-based pianist, songwriter, composer and music director. His plain-spoken vocal delivery calls to mind Paul Simon's everyman-poet while his piano chops have garnered comparisons to Bruce Hornsby and Elton John. His latest EP Uphill, released in 2022, was designed as a sort of song-cycle about grief, loss and ultimately coming out on the other side. In addition to his songwriting, Scott is a sought-after collaborator, accompanist and choral composer and conductor. <a href="http://www.scottsteinmusic.com/" title="http://www.scottsteinmusic.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">www.scottsteinmusic.com</a>Abby Ahmad is a singer, songwriter, actor, and multi-disciplinary educator based in Brooklyn, NY. She has recorded &amp; toured internationally as a solo artist, backup singer, and with her band Fife &amp; Drom. Her original music has been recognized by the Independent Music Awards and featured in numerous films, including the major motion picture, The Guardian. As an actor, she has performed Off-Broadway and in regional theatre and as a voice actor for film &amp; commercial. In 2025, Abby received an Bechdel Project Community Space Grant for her original musical, Permanent Residence.
