The event starts at 2pm EST. Seating is limited to 20 participants. Your $5 ticket can be used towards the purchase of a book, and copies of Jami’s books will be for sale at the Bookshop. Members of Hub City Writers Project and Hub City Writers Club can take advantage of early access to ticket sales for 48 hours.

2026 is the ninth year of Jami’s annual online group writing accountability project #1000wordsofsummer. With her 1000 Words project, Jami hosts an online community of 52,000 writers of all levels who support each other to write 1000 words a day for two weeks straight. The program will run May 30 through June 12. 1000 Words is consistently cited in interviews and acknowledgments as a treasured resource for writers in all stages of their careers.
