Hiding is Overrated: An In-Person Experience

Hiding is Overrated: An In-Person Experience

Overview

Registration closes Sept 13. Bible, brunch, brushes, and a Christ-centered conversation about identity. Join me Sept. 19 in Washington, DC!

REGISTRATION CLOSES SEPTEMBER 13

The Hiding Is Overrated Experience is an in-person Christian women’s gathering designed to help you slow down, get honest about what’s been happening beneath the surface, and reconnect the way you live with what God says is already true about you in Christ.

What are we actually doing?

Over the course of the day, we’ll walk through a guided experience centered around identity, grace, reflection, community, and practical application.

You can expect:

Brunch + real conversation

Come in, grab some food, meet other women, and settle in. You won’t be rushing straight into a teaching session or awkwardly trying to figure out where you belong.

This is time to connect.

Bible teaching

We’ll look at what happens when what we believe and how we live don’t seem to match.

You’ll begin identifying some of the beliefs, shame, fear, and pressure that may be influencing your reactions — and bring those things back under the truth of who you are in Christ.

Guided reflection + honest discussion

You’ll have space to think through what God may be showing you instead of listening to a message and immediately moving on. There will be opportunities to reflect, write, talk, and process alongside other women (if you so desire).

Space for prayer + quiet time with God

Sometimes you need room to process. A dedicated prayer and reflection space will be available during the event for anyone who wants a few quiet minutes with God or would like someone to pray with them.

A paint & sip activity

We’ll complete a guided art activity centered around the truth God is revealing to you about who you are. And no — you do not need to be artistic.

The point is the process. You’ll leave with something personal and tangible that reminds you of what God showed you long after the event is over.

So come eat, laugh, reflect, create, pray... all the things! And most importantly, come ready to be reminded of who you already are in Christ.

Hiding is overrated.
