Rising stars of the Boston folk scene bring original and traditional music from the Irish, Scottish, and Quebecois traditions.

Elias Cardoso is a multi-instrumentalist (fiddle, guitar, voice) from Boston, Massachusetts.  He has performed all over the United States and Europe, with bands such as Old Blind Dogs, Socks in the Frying Pan, Mari Black, Celtic Rhythms, and his band Glenville, among others.

His new band, featuring guitarist Adam Hendey (The Fire) and fiddler Clara Rose(Acoustic Nomads) plays original and traditional music from the Irish, Scottish, and Quebecois traditions, and their debut album will be released this summer. Opening the night is Clara Rose and Raphaella Hero , a duo of uncommon depth who weave together Scandinavian, Celtic, and American fiddle traditions with original compositions and improvisation. Though young, their playing carries the soulfulness of old masters—virtuosic yet unhurried, reverent yet free. Grounded in formal training and shaped by time spent in Sweden's vibrant folk landscape, their music holds space for healing, connection, and wonder. At every performance, they offer listeners a sanctuary: an invitation to return to the body, quiet the mind, and celebrate presence through sound.
