Overview

Advanced, hands-on latte art workshop in Chicago focused on milk texture, control, and consistency for baristas and serious home brewers.

Elevate your latte art skills in this hands-on advanced workshop designed for experienced coffee lovers in Chicago.

This workshop is for baristas and serious home brewers who want their drinks to look better and come out the same way every time. You’ll practice how to control milk texture so it behaves predictably, how to pour with steadier hands and cleaner movements, and how to shape designs so they’re centered, even, and intentional. We’ll work on small adjustments—grip, angle, speed, and timing—that help you move beyond “hoping it works” and toward repeatable, confident pours across multiple drinks.

You'll gain a deeper understanding

By the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to steam milk to the same texture repeatedly, fix common problems like big bubbles or thin foam, and adjust your milk on the fly for different drinks. You’ll learn exactly when to add air, when to stop, and how hot to steam so your milk pours smoothly instead of breaking apart. You’ll also practice how to hold the cup, control your pour speed, and move with intention so your latte art looks cleaner, more balanced, and more consistent from drink to drink.

Please note: this workshop is not for beginners.
To ensure the best experience for everyone, participants should already be able to pour basic latte art shapes consistently (such as hearts, simple tulips, or rosettas). If you’re still working on your foundational pours, we recommend starting with our Latte Art for beginners! workshop first. We’d love to support your progression.
