Daniel Harris III is a dynamic trumpeter, bandleader, and recording artist from Stockton, California, whose sound bridges Jazz, R&B, Funk, Neo-Soul, Hip-Hop, and Rap. A prodigious talent, Harris began his professional career at just fifteen years old going onto performing alongside celebrated artists including Terrace Martin, Stevie Wonder, and Isaiah Collier and the Chosen Few. His artistry has since carried him to world-class stages such as Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and UCLA’s Jazz/Reggae Festival. Beyond performance, Harris is the Founder and CEO of KnowMedium, an independent record label, publishing house, and creative company dedicated to uplifting multi-disciplinary art and cultivating community through concerts, jam sessions, and events. As a producer and educator, he is equally committed to developing the next generation of musicians and mentoring students while continuing to innovate and refine his own artistry. Harris’s achievements include the Woody Herman Jazz Award, being named the inaugural recipient of the California Alliance for Jazz Black Lives Matter Scholarship, and a recipient of the Bay Area Jazz and Blues Young Artist Award. These distinctions highlight both his artistic excellence and his commitment to cultural expression and cohesion. Completing his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles as a Global Jazz Studies major at the Herb Alpert School of Music, Harris continues to refine and showcase his voice on the trumpet that is as bold as it is soulful, carrying forward the legacies of jazz while shaping its future.

Where is parking located?
Parking is located under the building, accessible from west of the building off of 1st St. between Bunker Hill Towers and the mini-shopping center AU LAC is in.
Once you’ve turned into the large driveway, turn left into the garage “Guest Parking and Residence Parking of The Promendade”. $12 CASH ONLY.
Additional parking is located directly across Hope St. at Disney Hall - 111 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012. $10.
There is limited street parking in front of Au Lac, Disney Hall and The Music Center.
