About the Book:

FROM NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR ALEXANDRA ELLE COMES A VULNERABLE EXPLORATION OF THE FRIENDSHIPS THAT SHAPE US, STRETCH US, AND SOMETIMES WOUND US

In this heartfelt and vulnerable work, Alex examines the friendships that shape our lives - the ones that nourish, challenge, and sometimes stretch us in unexpected ways.

In a time of increasing loneliness, THE COMPANY WE KEEP offers thoughtful guidance on showing up with intention, communicating honestly, and cultivating relationships that honor personal worth.

In conversation with special guests, Alex explores themes of people-pleasing, self-silencing, boundaries, and emotional responsibility, encouraging readers to take a deeper look at the energy they bring into their connections. THE COMPANY WE KEEP isn’t just about deepening friendships - it’s about becoming a truer friend to yourself first.

ALEX ELLE is a New York Times Bestselling Author, wellness educator, and Restorative Writing teacher with more than a decade of experience. Through her books, workshops, courses, and retreats, Alex helps others cultivate self-discovery and expand their capacity for joy, clarity, and meaningful connection. Her work is grounded in the belief that literature and language serve as powerful tools for both personal and collective healing.

ASHLEY BLAINE FEATHERSON-JENKINS is a dynamic actress, creator, host and storyteller celebrated for her authentic performances and magnetic presence. She is best known for her role as 'Joelle Brooks' in the critically acclaimed Netflix Original Series Dear White People from creator Justin Simien.
