Tequila School is Back!

After a one-year sabbatical, Tequila School returns to Whistle Pig University for an unforgettable evening of flavor, education, and community.

Join us on Thursday, May 7, for a fully immersive experience featuring a curated dinner from Chef Dani, a guided tequila tasting, and a special cocktail menu from our friends at the Agave Lounge.

The Experience

Your evening begins with dinner service:

6:00 PM – Welcome Course
Elote Flatbread with Guajillo Chili Drizzle
(Our take on a favorite from the Agave Lounge)

6:30 PM – Main Course
Creamy Poblano Chicken over Cachapa
served with black beans and rice

Dessert
Tres Leches Cake with Reposado Caramel Sauce

Vegetarian and gluten-friendly options are available upon request.

At 7:00 PM, we raise a glass with a welcome toast of our house tequila before beginning the guided tasting experience.

Instructor Josh Howard, fresh off judging at both the Denver International Spirits Competition and the Tequila Mezcal Challenge, will lead you through the evening’s curriculum.

You’ll explore an award-winning tequila lineup in a vertical tasting format, including:

• Blanco
• Reposado
• Añejo
• A special bonus pour from the same house

This guided progression highlights how aging impacts flavor, aroma, and character across the same lineage of agave spirits.

In addition, we’ve selected two extra pours to broaden your palate and deepen the experience.

Cocktail Program

Jacy, owner and master cocktailer from the Agave Lounge, has curated a cocktail menu designed specifically for the evening.
