Art After Hours: An Evening with Melinda Buie
Join us in The J Gallery at The J House Greenwich for an evening of art, culture, and philanthropy, featuring local artist Melinda Buie.
Enjoy a curated artistic experience that offers an opportunity to explore the collection and connect with the artist behind the canvas. Beyond the exhibition, guests can also indulge in a boutique-style shopping experience featuring items from various local vendors, including The Bruce Museum, Gems by Christine Jewelry & Accessories, and more.
Tickets are $15 per person and include passed hors d’oeuvres and a glass of wine.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.
About the Artist:
Melinda Buie is renowned for her captivating, large-scale oil paintings—ranging from pastoral scenes inspired by her East Texas roots to compelling portraits and intricate architectural structures—with her work having been exhibited in galleries across the United States and internationally in London, Berlin, and Italy.
She currently occupies a studio in nearby Port Chester, NY, and has previously worked with esteemed institutions such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, Gluckman Mayner Architects, and The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation.
