Overview

Join us for a 90’s fit contest, 90’s freestyle photos, game competition, vendors, food trucks, facials, massages & more!

See you on May 21st!

Join us for Darkness RISING: The Kickoff Before the block party, we’ll gather to play, connect, and tap into joy as a community.

Pull up in your best for the 90’s fit contest, join our gaming competition, and grab your people for 90’s freestyle photos. Shop with local vendors, food trucks and enjoy a cash bar.

We’re partnering with Let's Get Social Raleigh for adult playtime, because joy is necessary. Reset with our wellness activations featuring chair massages, facials, nails, and energy healing.

The Kickoff is for the culture. It’s a space to show up fully, feel good in your body, and be in community before Darkness RISING: Live!

Come for the party. Leave with your people + your wellness team. Tickets are limited, get your early bird tickets now!

HOSTED BY: Darkness RISING, an arts and mental health 501(c)3 nonprofit. We provide free community wellness workshops, REBUILD, Find Me a Therapist, a Black Mental Health Resource Packet, a Black Mental Health Provider Database, inspirational cover songs, visual albums, and live concerts created by Black Broadway and theatre professionals, many who have experienced a mental health condition. Darkness RISING reimagines and provides safe and equitable mental health resources, addresses issues which directly affect the Black community and other marginalized communities, connect community members to resources, and erase the stigma. Our resources, events and services empower the Black community, communities of color, the formerly incarcerated community, LGBTQIA individuals, those with lived mental health challenges, and those at the intersection of these communities.
