Overview

Bring your improvised scenes to life and experience what it means to fully inhabit the characters you create.

The best way to find more honesty and depth in improvisational work is through repetition. In this advanced workshop, we will continue focusing on making moment-to-moment responses more habitual. Pursuing wants in various ways will be another focus. Applying these good practices to scenes that involve more than two performers gives the opportunity to explore more generosity and fuller stories. Lastly, finding our way toward strong endings sparks satisfaction for both the performer and the audience. We will work on all of these techniques, with care and respect, in the advanced version of this class.
