Jaw Tension, Headaches & TMJ Pain: A Self-Relief Workshop. Belmont
Learn how to address the muscular side of your jaw tension, headaches, and TMJ dysfunction in this hands on workshop.
Jaw tension, clenching, headaches, and TMJ pain can quietly take over your day—making it harder to eat, speak, focus, or even relax. If you’ve been told to “just stop clenching,” and that sounds impossible with your muscle tension, this workshop will give you clear answers and practical tools you can start using immediately.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to address the muscular side of your pain through guided self-treatment techniques you can safely do at home. This includes self-massage for the neck, head, and jaw, as well as intraoral massage (with gloves provided) to access deeper jaw muscles often missed in traditional care.
You’ll also learn key perpetuating factors—including habits and patterns that contribute to clenching and tension—so you can reduce the chances of your pain returning. These techniques are effective, accessible, and dentist-approved, making them a valuable complement to your care.
This workshop is taught by a TMJ-focused structural massage therapist with 23 years of experience. Katie practiced in Gaston County for the first five years of her career and now lives in Austin, TX, where she continues to specialize in helping people address head, neck, and jaw pain.
