Join us for a special preview of our new exhibition Fortunato Depero: Graphic Art between Italy and the United States.Curated by Maurizio Scudiero and produced by StArt, this show traces the creative journey of Futurist artist Fortunato Depero from his native Rovereto to the vibrant modernity of New York. Advertising works—often bold, graphic compositions—are presented alongside sketches, preparatory drawings, and paintings, revealing a practice where ideas evolve and transform across media.At the heart of the project is the Casa d’Arte Futurista, Depero’s experimental workshop where everything could become art, from tapestries to furniture to graphic design. More than a studio, it was a space where creativity moved freely across disciplines and into everyday life.The exhibit also follows Depero’s encounter with New York—a city of lights, speed, and visual intensity that shaped his work. Here, his language becomes even more daring: words turn into images, color creates movement, and advertising becomes a space for experimentation, anticipating a world that still feels strikingly contemporary.
