Food and community for healing connections with self, others, the earth, and the sacred.
PLEASE NOTE: This special edition of The Healing Feast for Mother's Day is a community rest experience. There are two things happening at Luna Center beforehand and we encourage you to come to one or both:
- 11:00 AM: Luna Center & Ecstatic Dance Lansing are holding a Mother's Day Ecstatic Dance. $10-$20 sliding scale recommended donation.
- 12:30 PM: All are welcome to attend a free Healing Feast potluck prior to the rest experience, with doors opening at 12:00. Click here to sign up to bring a dish for the potluck! We especially encourage men to sign up to show off their favorite recipes and support the women in our community with nourishing food. All are welcome to come and eat regardless of whether you bring a dish.
- 1:30 PM: The Healing Feast program with music, movement, and guided healing practices focused on Resting in the Divine Feminine.
FREE CHILDCARE is available on-site with trusted, quality providers. Please include the child care "add-on" to your ticket reservation. Follow up with thehealingfeastofconnection@gmail.com to let us know ages, number of children, and any other specific needs.
Singer/songwriter, sacred space facilitator, and cook Sari Brown holds The Healing Feast every month to share nurturing, globally-inspired food that is mindful of the earth, along with practices to help us embody joy, healing, creativity, and abundance.
This month's focus on the theme of Resting in the Divine Feminine is a Mother's Day celebration to honor and uplift women, and we welcome ALL genders to come and commune with the Divine Feminine and the feminine energy within! Our featured facilitators will be:
Meaghan Rosalie, Priestess of the White Rose Goddess Temple, Divine Feminie Healer & Leader supporting the return of the Goddess here on Earth. She is the president of The Healing Feast Board, co-founder of Ecstatic Dance Lansing, somatic healer, and powerful facilitator of sacred space through music, dance, ritual, and community.
Jess Kilbourn, a Rest Encourager, Healing Facilitator and Embodied Guide, who also holds space through Yoga Nidra, grief integration coaching, Body Mind Coaching, and massage therapy.
Alaura Massaro, a mystical composer and improvisational pianist whose songs, chants, and meditation music transport and transform us. Alaura is the music director at Interfaith Center for Spiritual Growth in Ann Arbor.
Tickets: Sliding scale tickets are $22-$66, and child tickets are $7. Tickets are available in advance or at the event while supplies last, but sometimes we sell out! Ticket prices are a few dollars more on the day of the event. Free tickets are available for people with financial constraints and/or who feel they can best contribute to this event in other, non-monetary ways. (Contact us at thehealingfeastofconnection@gmail.com if you want to volunteer!)
Community Potluck: Ticket purchases are for the program from 1:30-3:00. Prior to the event, there is a free community potluck. All are welcome to attend and contribute a dish to pass (but you can still come without bringing a dish!). Please click here to sign up.
