Advanced 3D Printing with Bambu Studio - Editing Models and Slicer Options

This session is tailored for makers who have been using Bambu Studio but want to learn more about the tools available.

Workshop Description:

Take your 3D printing skills to the next level using Bambu Studio's variety of editing and slicing tools. This session is tailored for makers who want to learn more about the slicing settings for printing, as well as editing, modfying, and cutting models.

What You'll Learn:

• Slicer Settings: Fills, flow speeds, ironing, brims, and many other settings will be reviewed so you know what the options do and when to use them.
• Cutting Larger models down: Learn how and when to use the cut settings and what other way to splits parts.
• Working with Negative Parts and Modifers: Understand what can be done directly in Bambu studio's editing options.
• Editing use the Object modes: How to understand, select, view, and label parts in the Object editor mode.
• Print by Object or By Layer: Learn what print by object can do and when to use it.
• Pauses and Color Changes: Explore the options of by layer settings and adding pauses to a print.
• Exporting and File types: Learn the file types related to printing and how to set them up to make them available for other makers.
• Setting Up Filaments: Syncing, editing profiles, and working with different materials.
• Support Materials: When, how, and what support materials are and how they can improve your pieces.

Who Should Attend: This workshop is ideal for 3D printing enthusiasts with basic printing experience who are curious about expanding their skills to using Bambu Studio past the introductory steps.

What to Bring: A laptop or tablet (if possible), your curiosity, and any existing 3D models you'd like to experiment with. We'll have limited computers with Bambu Studio available, but will not be doing a project in this class. We reccomend bring a notepad or similar to take notes.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a comprehensive understanding of Bambu Studio and it's slicer and editor tools.
