Field and Meadow Ecology
An interpretive habitat walk
Step into the vibrant world of fields and meadows! In this program, we’ll explore these open habitats and discover the plants, insects, and animals that call them home. Learn how grasses and wildflowers support pollinators, how animals use these spaces for food and shelter, and why meadows are so important for biodiversity. We’ll spend time outdoors observing, identifying, and discussing what we find, with a focus on seasonal changes and ecological relationships.
Recommended age: 9+.
Cost: $4 per child, adults free.
Parking: $6 per vehicle
