Week 1 // April 11th: Introduction to Crochet Basics

Learn about : Types of yarn, hook sizes, slip knot, chain stitch, single

crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, creating rows of stitches for future reference

Week 2 // April 18th: Reading crochet patterns, how to make a magic ring, front/ back loops, Increases/ decreases, slip stitch, fastening off rows.

Week 3 // April 25th: Familiarity with additional materials (sewing needle, stitch markers, safety eyes, poly- fill, etc…), color changes, fastening off projects, sewing pieces together, review of skills as needed. If time allows it, you will work on a simple small project.
