Sue Foley w/ Wonderful Bluffer
Save the Date! Sue Foley and her Band are coming to The Argo's Ballroom on June 5th.
GRAMMY® nominee Sue Foley delivers her own brand of high energy, guitar driven Texas blues along with her band. Foley’s seasoned rhythm section responds to her every move as she sways, rocks, and digs in deep with equal parts ease and intensity.
“Foley has a killer voice, an impossibly alluring blend of sex and innocence to go with those blazing guitar chops." -Philadelphia Inquirer
“Sue Foley has a way of making the blues explode from the bandstand." -Americana Highways
“Lively it is!...Straight from the hip and from the heart groovaliciousness. Rock on!”–Billy F Gibbons, ZZ TOP
Foley is a multi-award-winning blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose latest album, One Guitar Woman: A Tribute to the Female Pioneers of Guitar, was nominated for the 2025 GRAMMY® Award for Best Traditional Blues Album. Known for her fiery playing and soulful voice, Foley blends Texas blues grit with refined fingerstyle technique, whether on her signature pink paisley Fender Telecaster or a hand-built flamenco guitar.
Since their formation in 2018, Wonderful Bluffer has sought nothing more than to disarm and enchant audiences with the undying spirit of rock n’ roll. In the years since, the Milwaukee-based rock band has managed to craft a style of music all their own, with influences spanning many genres.
Known for their high-energy live performances, the band seeks nothing more than to share their music with anyone willing to come and listen to what they have to offer. Shows are consistently filled with dueling guitar and keyboard solos accompanied by howling, ethereal vocals, all supported by the bone crunching rhythms of distorted basses and thunderous drums.
Doors at 7:00pm. Show at 8:00pm. Full bar service will be available throughout the show, with the kitchen being open 4-close.
All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and supervised at all times while inside the building. Failure to provide proper supervision may result in removal from the premises. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
