Operation Healthcare Bound is a full‑day, hands‑on healthcare immersion experience for students ages 16–18 or Class of 2026 recent graduates, hosted at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, NV. Run by Frontier AHEC in partnership with NNRH, this event gives students an inside look at real healthcare environments, career pathways, and the professionals who make patient care possible.
From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, participants will engage in interactive activities, explore a variety of healthcare roles, and gain exposure to real‑world clinical settings. Lunch, snacks, and scrubs will be provided for all students.
To participate, students must complete one required form and a two‑step TB skin test. All necessary paperwork will be sent to registered students after sign‑up.
