Overview

We are pleased to invite you to an upcoming event with Nancy Fraser, hosted by the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Brussels Office.

In this lecture, Nancy Fraser will discuss her forthcoming book “Three Faces of Capitalist Labor: Uncovering the Hidden Ties among Gender, Race, and Class” presenting a powerful new framework for understanding how the capitalist society today relies on three distinct types of labor: exploited, expropriated, and domesticated.

  • When: Thursday, 7 May 2026 – 19:00 (doors open at 18:30)
  • Where: Beursschouwburg (BSB), Rue Auguste Orts 20-28, 1000 Brussels
  • Moderator: Anton Jäger

What connects gender, race, and class — and how can we unite disparate struggles against right-wing authoritarianism?

Drawing on historical insights from the fractured anti-slavery and trade union movements, Nancy Fraser will show how, together with feminism as a labor movement, these struggles are deeply interconnected and can strengthen collective resistance in the face of rising right-wing authoritarianism.

We look forward to welcoming you to the lecture, which will be followed by a reception with refreshments and drinks.

If you would like to attend, we kindly ask you to confirm your participation by registering here.

*Please limit bookings to a maximum of 2 tickets per person.
