We bring together residents, businesses, agencies, and other groups to engage in collective efforts to beautify our neighborhood, promote a thriving commercial district, improve public safety, and build a stronger sense of community and belonging.

The Dimond Improvement Association welcomes the <a href="https://www.lwvoakland.org/" title="https://www.lwvoakland.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">League of Women Voters of Oakland</a> for a nonpartisan - Pros and Cons - presentation on three Oakland ballot measures and Measure A (Peralta Colleges) for the upcoming Primary election on June 2, 2026.We will welcome questions from the audience as time allows. Come learn before you cast your vote!The program will start with a presentation by the Dimond Improvement Association who will provide updates on current and upcoming projects in the Dimond and opportunities to get involved.Meet at the Dimond Library (upstairs).The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization working to protect and expand voting rights and ensure everyone is represented in our democracy.
