Promenade - 2026 Spring Steinmetz Concert

Union College offers a wide variety of courses in music theory, music technology, composition, music history, world music, and jazz studies. The department hosts many events each year, including music ensemble performances from students and the community, as well as guest artists.

Union College and Community Orchestra, Union College Concert Choir, and Schola Contora.

Memorial Chapel

Online ticket sales have ended. Tickets will be available at the door.

 A sliding scale donation option for a ticket will be available at the door only. While the support is appreciated, all of the Music department's events are inclusive,  attendance is welcome regardless of a financial contribution

Union College and Community Orchestra, Union College Concert Choir, and Schola Cantorum present a program centered on opera. The concert will feature opera choruses from Don Giovanni, Carmen, Il Trovatore, and Nabucco, along with selections from Romeo and Juliet. In addition, the program will include choral works celebrating this year’s graduating seniors and their next steps.The money from ticket sales will go directly into supporting the ensembles. We would like to make sure our concerts are accessible to all, a sliding scale donation option for a ticket will be available at the door only. While the support is appreciated, all of the Music department's events are inclusive, attendance is welcome regardless of a financial contribution.
