Curious about book arts? Stop by the The Museum of Printing Books Arts Open Studio the second Saturday of every month.
Book Arts Open Studio
Saturday, July 11th from 10am to 4pm.
In the studio you can:
- Ask for advice on your latest project.
- Participate in open conversation with other book artists.
- Get creative with a new-to-you technique.
- Show off a favorite piece of book art.
- Get inspired by other artist's work.
- Practice a tricky book making technique.
- Start a new project with one of the many book templates/kits available.
Museum Staff and Volunteers are here to help you with your self-guided projects. Some of the many supplies and tools that are available: reference books, book cloth, end-papers, off cuts, waxed thread, guillotine paper cutter, board sheer, book press, and more.
Drop-in as you wish between 10am and 4pm. Come back often to share your progress.
