Death over Drafts-MacLeod's
Death over Drafts is a community event "brewing" curiosity & connection around death & dying.
Cheers!!! We are super buzzed about our upcoming Death over Drafts!
Please join your Death over Drafts Crafter's aka Hosts, Rubyrose Hill, The Alpha Society by Sparrow, and Stefanie Elkins, Be Present Care/Death over Drafts, Fran Feske, Gardens at Northridge on Thursday, April 16 from 6-8 pm at MacLeod's Brewing Co.
Death over Drafts is a casual event about all things death and dying. As April 16 is National Healthcare Decision Day, this Death over Drafts is focused on having vital conversations about healthcare goals and wishes. We will be sharing insights and providing time to review and fill out your advance care planning.
We will be also be brewing up conversation utilizing various resources and using The Death Deck, a lively tool to navigate many topics related to death. Most importantly, we want to encourage meaningful connections and have fun while de-stigmatizing talk about the inevitable. Our time together will start with some mingling, learning, and having fun (yes, fun along with insight), playing The Death Death/EOL (End of Life) Deck if you are so inclined!
*If you want, bring your advance healthcare directive so you can update and review with others for insight and support!!
What to expect:
- All our welcome
- Event is free
- Light bites and 1st drink by our Co-Crafters.
- You can still come if you don't love beer ;)
- This is a super supportive community yet we are not a support group
- In this communal environment, we remind you to be responsible for your own engagement.
- There is plenty of parking.
Bring Death over Drafts to your community.
