The shop and classrooms are comfortable and inviting.  There's so much to see, you might find yourself there for a long while.The NW Rockhounds Education Center is powered by Shunpike and can receive tax deductible donations. Shunpike is the 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that provides independent arts groups in Washington State with the services, resources and opportunities they need to forge their own paths to sustainable success. Students who withdraw 7 days (or less) prior to the start date of the first class DO NOT receive a refund of any kind.CANCELLATIONS:All classes not meeting their minimum requirement three days prior to class start date may be cancelled. In this 2 part advanced class you will learn wax carving a signet ring, sand casting with brass, and laser engraving a design on a ring.

Sand Casting Level 2 - Laser Engraved Brass Signet Rings (2 Part Class)Instructor: Micah HollingerDates: Monday May 11th and Tuesday May 12thTime: 5pm-8pmAges: 18 &amp; upPrice: $180 + $10 Kit fee (see bold below)(The PREREQUISITE for this class is Beginning Sand Casting Rings - Level 1 )In this advanced sand casting class students will learn the fundamentals of wax carving a signet ring, sand casting with brass, polishing, and laser engraving a design onto the ring. Laser Engraving done by instructor.There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.All other tools will be available for use.- Please Read Below -Check your email a few days before your class for further instructions.This class requires a kit fee, please come prepared.Our classroom is located upstairs and are limited to 4 students for this class.Masks OptionalYou are purchasing a seat at an event just like a sporting event or concert. These tickets are not transferable to a different class credit or store credit if you are not able to make it. Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a refund.
