Echo Ranch is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers a safe, peaceful sanctuary where healing begins — for rescue horses who have survived neglect and abuse, and for people navigating trauma, addiction recovery, grief, and life transitions. The horses at Echo Ranch are not rehabilitated and rehomed; they are given the dignity of living out their lives in consistent care and safety.
Guests engage in gentle, non-clinical healing through connection with these intuitive animals — whether through grooming, riding, liberty work, or simply being present together. All programs are offered free of charge, made possible entirely through donations, small fundraisers, and a volunteer community of nearly 70 people. Founded and led by Dorine and Jake, who live on the ranch and have devoted their lives to this mission, Echo Ranch exists not because it is easy or profitable, but because it is deeply needed.
