MPH Comedy is stepping up to the plate -- and Charlie's Watch Bar is about to find out what a real comedy night looks like.

This is the FIRST EVER comedy night at Charlie's Watch Bar, and we're not easing into it. We're swinging for the fences.

THE GRAND SLAM comedy night is a fully loaded, no-filter, four-comic showcase coming to your neighborhood sports bar on Saturday, May 16th. Doors open at 7:30. Show starts at 8. Tickets start at $15 on Eventbrite.

⚾ SINGLE - Matt B.C. (Host) @mattbccomedy Houston's own silly guy steps into the batter's box to warm up the crowd. A recovering former rapper and co-host of War Stories Pod, Matt's got the instincts of a veteran leadoff hitter -- get on base, set the tone, and make sure the cleanup crew has a crowd ready to go. He's new to the game but plays like he's been here before.

⚾⚾ DOUBLE - Chelby Morgan @chelbymorgan She didn't just get called up -- she earned a Golden Ticket on Kill Tony, one of the most ruthless stages in stand-up comedy. That's not a participation trophy. That's a scouting report that says this one is different. Chelby Morgan is rounding second and she is NOT slowing down.

⚾⚾⚾ TRIPLE - Keisha Hunt @comediankeishahunt First female champion of Miller Lite's Stand Up. It's Miller Time -- the same competition that put Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer, and Sheryl Underwood on the map. She's played Last Comic Standing, BET's Comic View, Jamie Foxx's America's Funniest Comics, and performed for troops in Korea, Iraq, Japan, and Africa. Keisha Hunt plays in every weather condition, on every field, in front of every crowd. She does not miss.

⚾⚾⚾⚾ HOME RUN - Adam Bob @adambobcomedy The cleanup hitter. The road-tested, crowd-reading, room-destroying closer that every lineup needs at the four spot. Adam Bob has performed everywhere from comedy clubs to churches to bars across this country, and when he steps to the plate last, the only question is how far it's going. Spoiler: all the way out.

This is the first show at Charlie's. That means you get to say you were there when it started. That means the room is going to have energy you can't manufacture twice.
