Join us for this educational event to hear Robert C. Kollmorgen, DO, FAAOS, FAOBOS, talk about "Hip Preservation Current Concepts."

Join us for a continuing medical education event with Robert C. Kollmorgen, DO, FAAOS, FAOBOS, an Inspire Health Orthopaedic surgeon and an associate professor at UCSF School of Medicine who specializes in Hip Preservation and Sports Medicine. This session will provide referring associates or physicians with more information on how to listen to the patient and diagnose typical and atypical hip pain, improve athletic return to sport by following best practices and knowing when to refer for an orthopedic consultation. Prompt diagnosis and treatment will allow the athletes an improved return to sport.

Objectives for Learners:

  1. Identify the common presentation of femoroacetabular impingement.
  2. Summarize the appropriate history, physical examination, and evaluation of femoroacetabular impingement.
  3. Describe the management options available for femoroacetabular impingement.
  4. Explain the importance of improving care coordination and communication among interprofessional team members in improving the outcomes of patients with femoroacetabular impingement.
