<h2>Waitsgiving 2026</h2>In 2021, Denton, TX band Fishboy unveiled Waitsgiving, a narrative album featuring ten songs centered around a fictional holiday celebrating About this Event In 2021, Denton, TX band Fishboy unveiled Waitsgiving, a narrative album featuring ten songs centered around a fictional holiday celebrating patience.Upon it's release, the band transformed this holiday into a real-life tradition, joining the community of Denton annually on the courthouse lawn for a FREE ALL AGES event.This year marks the sixth Waitsgiving, which features a traveling acoustic performance, a walking tour of the album's historic inspirations, surprise gifts and the continuation of cherished traditions.Saturday May 17th, 2025 at 6:00pm on the Denton courthouse lawnYou are encouraged to:<ul><li>Meet on the courthouse lawn ahead of time</li><li>Bring your own art and signs inspired by the songs/characters/patience in general</li><li>Dress in the colors of Waitsgiving (purple, white, pink)</li><li>Tell a friend/friends through word of mouth</li><li>Listen to the album</li><li>Bring blankets and chairs</li><li>Bring refreshments</li><li>Share the event and website <a href="https://waitsgiving.com" title="http://waitsgiving.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://waitsgiving.com</a></li></ul>
