The Wines of Portugal and Galicia

Portugal is perhaps most famous for its fortified wines from Porto and Madeira, but did you know that the country also produces an abundance of dry red and white wines made almost entirely from indigenous grapes?! In this class we’ll deep-dive into the diverse wines of Portugal with a skinny-dip excursion to Galicia—Spain’s westernmost wine region just north of Portugal. Meg and Diana are visiting both in June, and can’t wait to teach to the fruits of their labor!
