This event is a collaboration between two organizations dedicated to the advancement of women:<ul><li>Win With Black Women: An intergenerational collective of Black women leaders committed to building collective power and advancing social and economic policy agendas. The network focuses on empowering Black women across all sectors to lead and drive systemic change.</li><li>Dress for Success Washington, DC: This organization empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a support network, professional attire, and career development tools. Their programs are designed to help women thrive in every phase of their professional lives.</li></ul>We are privileged to feature a panel of distinguished voices moderated by Fox 5 DC Anchor <ul><li>Stephanie Ramirez (Moderator): Stephanie Ramirez is an Emmy-nominated journalist with more than a decade of experience delivering impactful news to the communities she serves. She has covered presidential elections and inaugurations, natural disasters, one of the deadliest aviation collisions in modern history, and the 2015 papal visit to the United States. She also reported extensively on school and public safety changes during the COVID-19 pandemic. A high school history lesson on the Muckrakers first inspired her understanding of journalism’s responsibility and purpose. The Nation’s Capital and its surrounding communities have become an extension of her family, as she continues to pursue answers and accountability. Her reporting experience also includes Cleveland and New York City. A graduate of Temple University, Stephanie got her start on the assignment desk in Philadelphia, where she learned the ins and outs of the newsroom. Stephanie anchors and is part of the early morning reporting team at FOX 5 DC, ensuring viewers have the information they need before starting their day.</li></ul>Distinguished Panelists:<ul><li>Dr. Nicol Turner Lee: A Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution and Director of the Center for Technology Innovation, she is a leading expert on digital equity and the intersection of race, wealth, and technology.
