Spring Cleaning: An April Tea Workshop exploring Dandelion & Renewal
A workshop dedicated to the art of starting fresh. Explore the resilient Dandelion, the ritual of "internal spring cleaning."
April arrives with a surge of green and a clear, insistent energy. After the quiet dreaming of March, the earth is now busy with the work of renewal. In our own bodies and spirits, we often feel a parallel urge to clear away the heaviness of winter, to open the windows, and to make space for new growth.
In the tradition of herbalism, spring is the season of the "alterative"—herbs that support the body’s natural rhythm of detoxification and movement.
This workshop invites you to lean into this season of clarity. Through the ritual of tea and intentional presence, we will explore what it means to "spring clean" our inner landscapes, shedding what no longer serves us to make room for the vibrancy of the months ahead.
Our focus plant for the evening is the Dandelion. Often misunderstood as a mere weed, the Dandelion is a powerhouse of resilience and transformation. From its deep, grounding roots to its bright, solar flowers, Dandelion has long been revered as a master healer for the liver and a symbol of persistence. We’ll spend time with this sun-bright plant through tea, conversation, and folklore, honoring its role as the great "clarifier" of the meadow.
You’ll craft your own personalized tea blend from a thoughtfully curated selection of cleansing and mineral-rich herbs. Guided by the intention of renewal, each participant will name their tea to honor the specific "clearing" they are manifesting in their lives this season.
Please bring: A journal for reflection and a small item for the community altar—such as a green leaf, a yellow flower, or a symbol of something you are ready to release or renew.
✨ This workshop is open to all. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or simply curious about the "weeds" in your backyard, you’ll leave with a deeper connection to Dandelion, a custom tea blend to take home, and a refreshed spirit as we embrace the vitality of April.
