The National Arts Club and its Fashion Committee, in partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, present Bibhu Mohapatra in conversation with Marc Karimzadeh for an exploration of his illustrious career.

Originally from Odisha, India, Bibhu Mohapatra gained the attention of top luxury brands and, while finishing school, was hired by Halston as an assistant designer. The designer has received numerous awards and is globally recognized for his elegant womenswear and jewelry. He has dressed former First Lady Michelle Obama, as well as celebrities such as Glenn Close, Hilary Swank, Jennifer Lopez, and Lupita Nyong’o. Marc Karimzadeh is the Editorial and Communications Director for the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Bibhu Mohapatra Style is highly encouraged!
