Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself and your ideas. If you already have a concept, questions, or even a name for your podcast, bring it. If not, no pressure. We’ll help you get started either way.

Will I actually get to use the equipment?

Yes. This is a hands-on session inside our Unmuted Studio. You’ll learn how to set up and use the equipment so you can confidently record on your own.

What kind of equipment will I be learning on?

You’ll be working with our professional podcast setup, including Shure SM7DB microphones, Zoom audio recorder, and Panasonic 4K cameras. Designed to be simple, high-quality, and repeatable.

Will I leave with a finished podcast episode?

This workshop focuses on learning how to record and run a session. Depending on timing, you may capture test footage or audio, but the goal is to give you the confidence and skills to come back and create full episodes on your own.

For non-members, you’ll have the opportunity to join PowerHouse and access ongoing studio time, community, and support.

We keep group sizes intentionally small, up to 6 people, so everyone gets hands-on time and personalized guidance.

Can I book time in the studio after this?
