Kick off the summer Lakefront Live season in the best way possible! Head down to the Columbia Association Lakefront for free kids' activities, food trucks, free ice cream (while supplies last) and a spectacular performance by Tap Band, produced by Merriweather Arts and Culture Center (MACC).
Plus, neighbors 21+ can cheers to summer at the community beer garden featuring local breweries and wineries.

4:30-8:30pm – Food trucks and community beer garden open
7pm – Performance by Tap Band, produced by Merriweather Arts and Culture Center (MACC).

Maryland’s own Tap Band is a vibrant fusion R&B band that brings a unique blend of soulful melodies and infectious rhythms to the stage. With their dynamic sound and electrifying performances, Tap Band delivers a fresh take on classic R&B hits while infusing elements of jazz, funk, and pop into their music. Led by talented musicians and vocalists, the band creates an immersive experience that captivates audiences of all ages. They gave a dazzling performance at the 2024 Columbia Festival of the Arts and look forward to kicking off the season on the new CA Lakefront Stage!
