Art Exhibition Opening - ROOTED
The Kota Alliance and Ruthy Valdez are proud to present a group art exhibit 'ROOTED'.
About This Event
The Kota Alliance and Ruthy Valdez are proud to present ROOTED—a group exhibition exploring the visible and invisible roots that shape who we are, and the ones we choose to plant in the world.
The exhibition features the work of 36 incredibly talented and unique women-identified artists.
What does it mean to be rooted?
For some, it is cultural, ancestral, or spiritual. For others, it is found in stories passed down, traditions reclaimed, or the bold new seeds planted in art, family, and community.
ROOTED is a centerpiece of our Spring 2026 programming, a season dedicated to heritage, storytelling, and rising from strong foundations. We invite you to join us for an evening of art, connection, and reflection as we let these roots speak and witness what grows from them.
Date: May 7th 2026
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Location: The Kota Alliance, 43 St Nicholas Pl
Drinks and small bites offered at the opening! We hope to see you there!
