- Increase your understanding of the complex issues of youth aging out of foster care with disabilities.
- Learn what you can do to ensure smoother transitions and promote better outcomes.
This session will be led by Laura Anne DeRiggi, LSW, MSW, Senior Director, Clinical Consultation Community Behavioral Health A Division of DBHIDS. Laura is a licensed social worker for over thirty years with experience in direct clinical practice, public and private sectors of behavioral managed care, and county/state government creating, redefining and restructuring how services are delivered to meet the unique needs of children, youth, adults and families involved in multiple systems of care.
CLE and CEU credit provided by Support Center for Child Advocates, Center for Excellence in Advocacy (CEA). CEA is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors to offer continuing education for social workers, marriage and family therapists and professional counselors. Support Center for Child Advocates, Center for Excellence in Advocacy maintains responsibility for the program(s).
