Festival of Nature - Frenchay Parklands walk and nibbles

A guided walk of Frenchay parklands; hopefully finishing off with some bat sightings. FREE nibbles and refreshments included.

As part of the Festival of Nature,Winterbourne Parish Council are hosting a FREE nature walk around Frenchay Parklands; hopefully finishing off with some bat sightings. Prior to the walk there will be FREE nibbles and refreshments included.

Plan:

Meet at Frenchay Museum at 7pm for welcome. Have nibbles and refreshments and a chance for people to find out more about the Climate and Nature Committee at Winterbourne Parish Council. Safety briefing at 7.45pm with walk commencing at 7.55pm. Finishing back at the start point at 9pm.

Transport:

Plenty of parking, bike racks by Beckspool Building and bus stop 50m away (served by bus 50).

Accessibility:

Short-distance walk and child friendly.

Get in touch with the organiser (community@winterbournepc.org) to discuss any concerns around accessibility. The walk can be adapted for wheelchair accessibility but will be difficult for anyone using walking aids.
