Festival of Nature - Hambrook nature walk and picnic

As part of the Festival of Nature Winterbourne Parish Council are hosting a FREE nature walk around Hambrook followed by a community picnic on the Common with FREE nibbles and refreshments included.

Plan:

Meet at 10am at Whiteshill Common for welcome and safety briefing. Walk from 10.10am and 11am. Arrive back at the common at 11am for picnic until 12.30pm (food will be set up on the Whiteshill Common but we will need to cross the road and move over to the small common and wildflower meadow to allow for the cricket team to set up at 11.45am).

Transport:

Parking, bike racks and bus stop on road opposite (served by the Y1).

Accessibility:

Short-distance walk and child friendly.

Get in touch with the organiser (community@winterbournepc.org) to discuss any concerns around accessibility. The walk can be adapted for wheelchair accessibility but will be difficult for anyone using walking aids.
