Whenever we talk about the best times at Flynn's, someone always brings up the old school Sunday Funday Reggae Dance Parties. So, we are bring them back this summer! If you used to party with us on Sunday's here is a chance to reminice with friends and circle back to your old stomping grounds on the Great South Bay.
It's also and opportunity to support a great charity, who have been fighting to protect the precious waterway we all cherish.
So, it's time for you and your friends to hop a ferry to the beach for a good cause. Fire Island is the place to be on a Sunday afternoon and Flynn's is Fire Island most cherished venue. Since 1937, Flynn's has been hosting live music and throwing the best waterfront bashes. So grab your friends and head out to the beach for this charity event on the bay.
There will be raffles, games, prizes, and lot's of fun. There will be discounted beverages to keep spirits high, and a raw bar with local Oysters and Clams.
Agenda for the day:
Doors and DJ at 12noon
Raw bar from local oyster farmers opens at 1pm
Come watch as we plant baby oysters to help filter and clean the bay and learn about the amazing bivalves that are so important to our ecosystem at 1:30pm
Buy some raffle tickets and enter a drawing to win all kinds of great prizes from local retailers and restaurants and craft people. Drawing will be called at 5pm
Step up and grab a Tito's Salty Dog cocktail the official drink of the day
Get out on the dance floor and groove to the reggae, alt rock, dub, ska sounds of the Durdy Rockas band who will be performing a mix of hits by Stick Figure, Sublime, Dirty Heads, Incubus, RHCP, 311, Sugar Ray, and Reel Big Fish starting at 3:30pm.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? 21 and over to party, no one under 21 will be admitted to the bar. Underage guests will be allowed in Flynn's dining room, marina and bathrooms only - not the bar deck or dance floor.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?Flynn's is located on a barrier beach with no cars. In order to attend this event, you must come by boat. You can ride the public ferry from Bay Shore to Ocean Bay Park (www.fireislandferries.com) or come by private boat to Flynn's marina. Visit www.dockwa.com for marina reservations. We recommend public transporation, take the LIRR or Uber to Bay Shore, and hop on a ferry to Flynn's.
Does Flynn's accept Credit Cards? Cash only at the bar, there are ATM's inside the building, Credit Cards are accepted in the restaurant, retail store and marina.
What can I bring into the event? NO coolers, NO backpacks, NO alcohol, NO illegal or banned substances. All bags, purses and pockets will be subject to search.

What is the refund policy? All sales are final.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, you will receive a bar code to scan in your confirmation email, we will scan you in at the gate. Be sure to bring a valid state-issued I.D.
