This edition of Frequency features Latavia, a powerhouse vocalist who offers healing through lyrics and melody.

Latavia is an R&B/Soul singer-songwriter from Brampton, Ontario. Growing up in her grandfather's church, she began singing at the age of four and writing lyrics at age nine. Drawing inspiration from '90s and early 2000's R&B, she is influenced by iconic vocalists such as Whitney Houston, Brandy and Jazmine Sullivan, artists known for their emotional vulnerability, powerful vocals and raw storytelling. She creates emotionally honest music about self-worth, love, heartbreak, and personal growth. Through her artistry, Latavia aims to inspire healing, reflection and empowerment. She has new music set to be released this year.
