Overview

Will Virginia draw new Congressional maps or not? Will Arlington stay together for the kids? Or will we have two Christmases? Come find out!

On April 21, Virginians will make a very important decision: Will we draw new congressional districts? Or will we stick with the maps we currently have? The outcome will decide the balance of power in Congress after the 2026 midterms.

The stakes are high, the air is heavy, and in Northern Virginia, everyone wants to know: Is Arlington's congressional district separating?

Congressional candidate Adam Dunigan (former Marine, ex-CIA, Arlington local, running in Virginia's current 8th district) is inviting everyone in the wider DMV area to come together and watch as Virginia decides the answer to those questions. Whatever the outcome of the referendum, it's still a good excuse to throw a party, and some of us may need a stiff drink after we see the results.

This is a chance for the whole DMV to enjoy some camaraderie amongst all of the current political chaos. The evening will include light remarks and a brief townhall-style Q&A, but this event is mostly focused on coming together as neighbors and friends to enjoy a moment of shared community.

Tickets are free, with event sponsor tiers available for those wanting to support Adam's run for Congress. If you'd like to know more about Adam, visit his website and social media. If you'd like to support the campaign but can't attend the event, visit our donation link. But do try to come and join the festivities anyway. It's high time we all started coming back together, both here in Virginia and nationally, and this event will be a fun way to do just that.
