Moab History 101 is an engaging, community-oriented program offering local guides and history enthusiasts an exploration of Moab History.
Moab History 101 was designed to introduce local guides and recreation-industry employees to Moab’s history through the stories, artifacts, and primary resources available at the Moab Museum. Facilitated in collaboration with History Moab founder, Blaine Reniger, this Open Session of Moab History 101 invites local guides, history buffs, and curious community members alike to join us for a night of learning and story sharing. This program will include an in-depth guided gallery tour of the Moab Museum and an additional presentation on topics of particular interest, using historic photos, oral histories, and items from the Museum collection. The cost of the open session is $40. Limited scholarships are available for guides, or prospective guides, unable to afford full registration fee. Email the Museum's Director of Programs at megan@moabmuseum.org for more information and to secure your spot for free on scholarship.
