Overview

Get inspired to build your own fairy house this year!

Have you dreamed of creating a Fairy House that goes beyond sticks and stones? Join fairy house designer Catherine Reynolds for a workshop for those who want to create a lasting, contest-worthy piece. Learn practical tips for choosing durable materials, construction techniques, and creative design elements that bring charm and magic to life. Through examples and show-and-tell, Catherine will share what makes a fairy house truly stand out—from enchanting details to features that catch a judge’s eye.

PLEASE NOTE: You will not be building a fairy house in this workshop; appropriate for adults, teens or children older than 8 yrs who want to learn more about the art of creating a beautifully designed fairy house. Whether for your own back yard or perhaps to enter in our Fairy and Hobbit House Festival contest in July, you will leave with plenty of inspiration for creating your own fairy house!

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Catherine Reynolds loves the magic of fairies and is a longstanding fairy house builder. She loves the way organic materials can be repurposed to create something new that tells a different story.
