Saturday, July 11th - Sunday, July 12th


Overview

Take a break from the noise and spend intentional time in nature, in community, and with God. Explore nearly 60 acres, part of a 225-acre preserve complex, of diverse habitats including prairies, forests, the Rubicon River, Otter Creek, a pond, and organic gardening areas.

This Young Adult Weekend (ages 18–39) is a relaxed, meaningful retreat designed for whatever you’re seeking — whether that’s authentic community, outdoor adventure, prayer, or simply space to breathe.

Come with friends or come solo — you’ll find a welcoming, down-to-earth community either way.

What to Expect

The followinng optional activities will be facilitated by CEC staff throughout the weekend. Participants are encouraged to take part in the full experience, while still having space to rest and explore.

  • Guided property hike + tour
  • Time with farm animals
  • Team-building / low ropes
  • Ecology-focused nature hike
  • Campfire with fellowship
  • Adoration, Confession, and Night Prayer
  • Sunday Mass
  • Free time for hiking, canoeing, yard games, or relaxing

Schedule Overview

Saturday, July 11th

  • 1:00 PM – Check-in begins (able to setup as early as 10:00 AM)
  • 1:30 PM – Welcome + guided hike & farm visit
  • 2:30 PM – Free time (explore, canoe, relax)
  • 3:30 PM – Optional team-building
  • 4:30 PM – Nature hike (ecology)
  • 5:30 PM – Dinner
  • 7:00 PM – Adoration & Confession
  • 8:10 PM – Night Prayer
  • 8:15 PM – Campfire (optional praise & worship)

Sunday, July 12th

  • 9:00 AM – Mass
  • 10:00 AM – Breakfast
  • 10:45 AM – Optional morning activities + indoor animal visit
  • ~11:45 AM – Formal conclusion

If you’re running late, you’re still welcome to join as you’re able.

Location & Nearby

We’re located just 15 minutes from Holy Hill Basilica and National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians, making this a great opportunity to visit before or after the retreat.

Tickets & Pricing

Saturday-Only Ticket: $30/person

Weekend Ticket: $50/person

  • Weekend Ticket indicates you are bringing our own tent
  • Optional Upgraded Cabin Spot: additional $20 (18 female spots & 12 male spots)

Online registration closes on July 9th at 3:00pm (walk-ins are welcomed, late fee of $10)

Full refunds available 2 weeks prior to the event date (June 27th at 1:00pm)

Meals Provided

  • Saturday Dinner (campfire-style meal)
  • Sunday Breakfast (light continental with coffee and tea station)

You’re also welcome to bring your own food and use the kitchen (guests are responsible for cleaning their own dishes).
If you have dietary restrictions, we recommend bringing supplemental food.

Good to Know

  • You may arrive as early as 10:00 AM on Saturday to enjoy the grounds beforehand
  • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Showers, restrooms, and indoor spaces available
  • Alcohol permitted in moderation (21+), not provided
  • Packing-list will be sent in a welcome email
